Shiko is a stunning little Rainbow Lorikeet with a curious mind and a cautious heart. They're very interested in what you're doing - leaning forward, stretching that bright little neck, taking everything in - but still figuring out that hands aren't so scary after all.

Shiko isn't ready to rush into anything, and that's okay. With gentle patience, positive reinforcement, and lots of respectful space, their bravery is slowly beginning to bloom. Treats are a great way to start building trust, and enrichment time is when their inquisitive personality really shines.

Like all lorikeets, Shiko will need a specialised nectar diet, plenty of stimulation, and an understanding home ready for a bit of mess (rainbows aren't tidy!). In return, you'll get front-row seats to the sweetest confidence journey - watching a wary little bird grow into their vibrant, cheeky self.
