Matilda is a quiet spirit who startles with loud noises and sudden movements, so she'd do best with older kids or an adults‑only household. She loves having a cozy "launch room" to settle into and may spend her first days tucked away like a shy little shadow-but once trust is built, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loving.

She's not very food‑driven and isn't fussed about toys, preferring peaceful company over playtime. Matilda may be okay living with another gentle cat, as long as introductions are slow and thoughtful.
