Hunter is a very handsome young grey tabby boy who hasn't had the smoothest start to life. Coming from what was likely a chaotic, unpredictable background, he arrived at the shelter alongside his buddy Orion, both of them unsure of the world but quietly hopeful for something better.
Despite his wobbly beginnings, Hunter has shown us exactly who he is at heart: a sweet, affectionate, playful kitten who *wants* connection - he just needs a little time and patience to feel safe enough to show it.
Hunter warms up best with slow, gentle interactions. Let him choose the moment to approach, offer a soft voice, a calm presence, and a gentle hand... and before long, he'll lean in for tickles, purrs, and fuss. Once he trusts you, his affectionate side shines through beautifully. He's playful, curious, and full of potential - he simply needs a family who understands that confidence grows with kindness.
