Hi, I’m Poot

Poot is a very chatty, sweet, and timid girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home. Due to her vocal nature, she may be best suited to a house rather than a unit where her meows could travel.
Being a naturally fearful and easily overwhelmed cat, Poot will benefit from starting life in a small launch room, allowing her time to settle before exploring the rest of the home. She feels most comfortable when she has access to plenty of safe spaces-scratch posts, cat trees, hides like cardboard boxes or igloos, and shelves or dressers at both high and low levels.
Poot would do best with a patient adopter who can read her body language and give her the space she needs while she gains confidence. Teenagers familiar with cat behaviour would be ideal.
She is cat social, having come from a home with multiple cats, and seems to enjoy the company of a feline friend. While she may get chatty when meeting other cats, she loves gentle pats and attention, often rolling into strokes once she feels safe.
With time, patience, and understanding, Poot will show her affectionate side, becoming a loving, interactive, and delightful companion for the right home.
